The data of OBIS can be explored in two ways, corresponding to the first two menu items after 'Home'. The 'Search Data' menu will take you to a sophisticated, powerful search interface, which offers several menthods for data download. The 'Maps' menu  offers access to a series of distribution maps by taxon, and diversity metrics derived from the OBIS data.
