New data loaded, 9 January 2013

Today, new data was loaded on the international OBIS portal; the total number of records stands now at 35.5 million, from 1,130 individual data sets. There were 4 new data sets and one was updated.

The statistics page has been updated to reflect the new numbers. See also this page for details on the new and updated data sets, and a link to a map of each of these data sets.
