AntaBIF builds upon, and expands two complementary networks by linking these with other potential data resources. It integrates SCAR-MarBIN, the Antarctic OBIS Node, with the databases network managed by the Australian Antarctic Division (AAD).

AntaBIF is looking for a scientists to fill the position of data manager for the project. Interested candidates should send their application (in English, plus CV) to the project promoter, Hendrik Segers (hendrik.segers@naturalsciences.be), with CC: to Bruno Danis (bruno.danis@naturalsciences.be) before 22 April 2011; the selection of candidates will take place during the first half of May 2011.
